  • Condolences to family and friends of NATHAN B. STUBBLEFIELD FOUNDATION noncommercial WMNF/TAMPA Station Manager VICKI SANTA, who died TUESDAY (12/9) of a pulmonary embolism and pneumonia after a year-long battle with cancer in TAMPA. SANTA, who was 56, had been with the station for over 20 years and was named Station Manager in 2000; she stepped down from her post in JUNE due to her illness. She was also the co-host of the weekly "FREAK SHOW" with ED GREENE.

    A memorial celebration is scheduled for MONDAY (12/15) at SKIPPERS SMOKEHOUSE in TAMPA at 6p.

Ms. Santa is survived by her mother, Phyllis M. Santa of St. Petersburg; partner of 31 years, Kenneth Wilson; and her sister, Shelley Santa of Seattle, the sister said. WMNF plans to hold a public celebration of her life at 6 p.m. Monday at Skipper's Smokehouse, 910 Skipper Road, Tampa.

Ms. Vickie always had a kind word for my daughter Aria and she continuously looked forward to seeing Ms. Vickie at the station, sponsored events and even at the grocery! We will miss her.
Our hearts go out to you- mom, sister, and Kenneth. We all love her.
