Tom was funny, kind, and upbeat. His too-early death was a terrible loss to everyone who was lucky enough to be his friend. He died of Hodgkin's Disease (now known as Hodgkin's lymphoma).

I have never done anything in my life to deserve a friend as wonderful as he but I often say a prayer of thanks to God for letting me have shared my younger days with Tommy.
