Bio:
I went from New Trier first to Wellesley College for two years and then transferred to Stanford University where I got my BA in Psychology. Went on to UC Berkeley where I received my MSW. Founded The Family Therapy Institute of Santa Barbara (FTISB) where I am still the Executive Director and family therapist. I married Don MacMannis, psychologist and singer-songwriter in 1982 and together we have launched two sons, now 27 and 25.
