Very saddened to now be hearing of Phil's passing. He had many friend's that loved him. A group of us used to visit him at Scoozi's for great appetizers and drinks fairly often. He suggested I propose to my girlfriend there and that is exactly what I did. I'll miss you pal, but hey, we'll see 'ya soon.

Phil was a great guy. He loved Dillon/Frisco and we had lots of good times and memories from there. Phillip, you will truely be missed. Rest in Peace.

Phil was the class clown--everybody loved him. Amy Hannon often exclaimed "Filbert, you're really a nut!"

In the late 80's I had gotten divorced from my first wife and moved down to a loft in River West which was right nex door to Scoozi. I used to go in there with my dates when Phil was at the front and always got the best table in the house whenver I wanted. We remembered "The Good Old Days" at Howard and St. Joe's and as I recall, he was one of the original "Wilmette Surfers" back in the day. Later, when he moved over to Division Street I would sometime wander in to his Bar and have a great time. Donnie Casey
