Bio:
Moved from Austin, Texas to Albuquerque in 2012, primarily due to the wish to get out of the searing heat & be able to spend more time outdoors. My practice has changed significantly since the move: it is more forensic in nature (criminal cases; civil cases; evaluation of kids who have made significant threats at school; fitness for duty, etc.). I still have a small clinical practice, but I have been increasingly drawn to this other area of psychology: more challenging and uses a different part of my brain.
Since moving to NM, I have also bought a baby camper & have been spending more time exploring the southwest (just returned from Death Valley NP). Looks like I will be working for a long time, so I am determined to take frequent adventurous vacations.
Prior to graduate school at Northwestern Medical School, I lived in both Colorado & New Mexico, so I have been in the Southwest most of my adulthood. I still visit Chicago regularly even though I no longer have any family living there, but do have good friends from graduate school.
