Margaret "Sue" Shipley Huff, 78, a 40 year resident of Wilmette, died Sept. 2. Mrs. Huff was born in Sigourney, Iowa. She lived her childhood days in Wilmington, IL. Mrs. Huff attended Iowa Wesleyan College for two years where she pledged Alpha Gamma Delta. She completed and graduated from Northwestern University with her RN degree. Mrs. Huff worked at Evanston Hospital after graduation and ended her nursing career at Washburne Junior High in 1984. A VERY LOYAL Wildcat fan, Mrs. Huff was also involved with various nursing associations, PEO, the Evanston Women's Athletic Club (EWACs) and the American Association of University Women (AAUW). Mrs. Huff was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Everett in 1994 and her husband, Curtis Allen Huff in 1996. Survivors include one son, James Allen Huff of Schiller Park; two daughters, Cynthia (Rockne) Bork of Mount Prospect and Marilynn (Cary) Brown of Glenview, IL; and seven grandchildren, James Huff, Lela, Emmy, Curtis and Susan Bork, and John and Maggie Brown. A Memorial Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette, 9th and Greenleaf, Friday, Sept. 8 at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to ENH Hospice, 5215 Old Orchard Rd., Suite 200, Skokie, IL 60077-1035.
