Island Lake, IL. – Maureen A. Heroux (Doyle) was born January 6, 1952, in Grosse Pointe, MI. the third of four children of Patricia M. Doyle and John T. Doyle (deceased) of Galena. She spent much of her life in the Chicago Suburbs, with her son, Matthew Harris. She was a sister to Michael (Mary) Doyle (Galena, IL), Patrick (Betsy) Doyle (Galena, IL) and Kevin (Pam) Doyle (Galena, IL)
Maureen was an aunt to Kerry, Jon, Brianna, Maura, Tim, Fallon, Meghan, Mike, Sean, and Bob.  She loved her three kitties as though they were her children. Those who knew Maureen knew that she was not afraid of death and strongly believed in living life to its fullest. After a courageous battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully at home with family and friends. Maureen will be missed by many. 

A celebration of her life will be on April 17th, 2010 at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, from 2-5 PM.  Memorials can be made to Maureen A. Heroux and sent to 902 W. Peter St, McHenry, IL.
