I had not talked to Terry in a long time when I decided to give her a call. She was the first of my friends to hit the big 5-0 at the time. We had a great long talk. She and her family had just volunteered at the Salt Lake City Olympics, skiing along side of the Olympic ski team. Her life was filled with athletic adventure. The most "fit" of my high school friends, but, sadly, the first of our group to die. Gone too soon, leaving a husband and 2 kids and lots of great memories.
I have so many great memories of Terry... she was always smiling. She lived life to the fullest. We sailed often together out of Wilmette Harbor. Our SHENANDOAH days out of Nantucket will never be forgotten. Canoe trips down the DesPlaines River, Vermillion River were a blast. You will never be forgotten.
